What is SAP – BASIS?

SAP –BASIS(Business Application Software Integrated Solution) is a set of programs and tools that act as an interface and co-ordinates with database, operating system, communication protocols and business applications. SAP BASIS enables applications such as FI, CO, PP and others to communicate and co-ordinate with each other across different operating systems and databases.

BASIS is a technical base that validates the SAP applications and provides services like communication with the operating system, database communication, and exchange of business data, web requests, memory management and several others.
